Not sure that you want to have your placenta encapsulated? May we suggest taking your placenta home anyhow and freezing it? This will preserve your placenta should you decide you would like to have it encapsulated at a later date. Please make sure to keep it on ice or in the refridgerator within three hours after birth. Frozen placenta needs to be carefully thawed prior to processing, so it may take a bit longer for your encapsulation service to be completed. This is a great option for families that are unsure that they would like their placenta encapsulated, but want to have the option if they chose to have the service done at a later date.
